Preparation of cone crusher before start

Good inspection habits are of great benefit to guarantee the normal operation of the crusher throughout the year. Regular maintenance and correct written records cannot rely on memory alone. Performing pre-startup and routine maintenance checks can reduce downtime and extend crusher life. Before starting the cone crusher, the following preparations should be made:
◊1. Check whether the oil used is correct and install the lubrication system according to the requirements.
◊2. When using an oil pump driven by a motor, start the oil pump first. Open the inspection lid above the fuel tank cap and check the oil return line in the tank to confirm that the oil is circulating. In normal operation, the drained oil must be at least half of the oil discharge pipe.
◊3. If the crusher is equipped with an integrated oil pump driven by a crusher, the pump must be filled with oil. Before starting the crusher, the drive shaft must be filled with oil. Remove the three-way plug from the pump and pour a certain amount of oil into the pump. This method is only used in the initial startup and startup after a longer interval. Under normal conditions, the check valve on the tank will keep the pump filled with oil.
Remove the hose from the top of the drive shaft bracket, fill the drive shaft bracket with oil, and then connect the hose to tighten the connector. When the oil pump of this type is initially started, the shaft holder must be filled with oil in order to lubricate the shaft sleeve.
◊4. Remove the wooden wedges that are squeezed between the crushing linings for shipping.
◊5. check the axial clearance. The drive shaft must be able to move freely (1.2-1.8mm) in the axial direction.
◊6. Finally, check whether there are obstacles in the crusher for tools or equipment, whether all the joints and fasteners have been fastened, whether there is oil leakage and other factors that prevent the crusher from starting.
◊7. Rotate the drive shaft by hand to check whether the crushing wall and the rolling wall interfere with each other. Are there any other mechanical obstacles?
◊8. Jog the main motor and confirm that the shaft is steered correctly. The correct steering is to face the large pulley end of the drive shaft counterclockwise. The direction of rotation is determined facing the drive end of the drive shaft, and the drive shaft cannot be reversed.
